Psalm 40:16
May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, “The Lord is great!”
David who wrote Psalm 40, expresses his desire to God for true seekers of Him to rejoice and be glad.
While they waited for God's help, he wanted them to praise God and proclaim that He is great.
God Almighty is worthy to be praised. He is our refuge and strength; a very present help in times of trouble. In his presence is fullness of joy and we can access it. Praise God.
