Devotional- The dead cat

Crying much, a woman once told her Pastor that her cat had died and she had to herself bury it that morning. The Pastor, though he said he was sorry to hear that, felt that it was no big deal. Later he commented with a laugh that there are many cats around and she can find one to replace the old one. The lady was hurt but kept quiet.

Sometimes we can be insensitive to the grief and pain of others.

What we think of as insignificant, can be quite important to others. 

Actually, can learn much from Jesus who was always compassionate in his dealings with people. He spoke words full of grace, seasoned with salt. Jesus cared for those hurting and so can we. 

The Bible exhorts us, 

"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." 

(Colossians 4:6)

बहुत रोते हुए, एक महिला ने एक बार अपने पादरी को बताया कि उसकी बिल्ली उस सुबह

मर गई थी। पादरी ने हालांकि कहा कि उसे यह सुनकर दुख हुआ परंथु उसे लगा कि यह कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है। बाद में हस्कर् उंहॊनॆ कहा कि आसपास कई बिल्लियाँ हैं और वह पुराने वाले कॆ बद्लॆ एक पा सकती है। महिला को मन् मॆ चोट लगी लेकिन चुप रही।

कभी-कभी हम दूसरों के दुःख और दर्द के प्रति असंवेदनशील हो सकते हैं।

जिसे हम महत्वहीन समझते हैं, वह दूसरों के लिए काफी महत्वपूर्ण हो सकता है।

दरअसल, यीशु मसीह से बहुत कुछ सीखा जा सकता है जो दुखित् लोगों के साथ अपने व्यवहार में हमेशा दयालु था। उसने अनुग्रह से भरे हुए शब्द बोले। यीशु ने ऐसे लोगों की परवाह की जो दुखी थे और इसलिए हम भी कर सकते थे।

तुम्हारा वचन सदा अनुग्रह सहित और सलोना हो, कि तुम्हें हर मनुष्य को उचित रीति से उत्तर देना आ जाए। (कुलुस्सियों 4:6)
