Psalm 150

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 150:1-6) (KJV)

The Psalter ends with a Psalm with multiple exhortations to praise God Almighty. Where to praise him, why praise him, how to praise him and who should praise him are successively outlined by the Psalmist.

Where to praise him- In his sanctuary, in firmament of his power!

Why praise him- For his mighty acts; for his excellent greatness!

How to praise him- With trumpet, psaltery, harp, timbrel, dance, stringed instruments, organs and loud cymbals!

Who should praise him- Everything that has breath!

God is worthy of praise. Often Christian believers praise God when he does something for them. But here the Psalmist exhorts us to praise God for who he is. The one and only great and mighty God who has no equals.
