Thoughts from the book of Isaiah-25

Woe to the many nations that rage-they rage like the raging sea! Woe to the peoples who roar-they roar like the roaring of great waters! Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale. (Isaiah 17:12-13) (NIV)

Regarding "Nations" and "Peoples", the Psalmist sings....
The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. (Psalm 33:10) (NIV)

Nations that rage and peoples that roar against God finally end up like chaff on the hills and like tumbleweed when blown away. These are they who reject the Lord and live in rebellion to him.

But regarding them who serve the Lord faithfully, the Psalmist also says,
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.(Psalm 33:12) (NIV)

Individually, we all are answerable to God for our actions. Let us then check our lives and......"continue to work out our salvation with fear and trembling...."as Apostle Paul exhorted the believers in Philippi.
