Thoughts from the book of Isaiah-21

The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;
once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Foreigners will join them and unite with the descendants of Jacob. (Isaiah 14:1) (NIV)

How wonderful it is to know that the Creator of this universe is compassionate and sin forgiving. Truly, if he kept a record of sins, how could we ever survive?
God's chosen people erred repeatedly and were punished by him often. But he would again embrace them when they cried out to him for forgiveness.

The Psalmist sings, "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.... (Psalm 103:13)(NIV)

The Lord rebuilds, restores and resurrects. Amazing is his grace. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. (Lamentations 3:32) (NIV)
Praise the Lord!
