I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)
Often believer's are impatient regarding things in their lives. They wait upon the Lord for a while, but when they see that things are not moving as they desire, they tend to do things which they later realize was not what they should have done. God's timing is best for us and when we embark upon new ventures, its always best to wait upon the Lord in prayer and seek his guidance. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob still lives and is willing to guide them who wait upon him. As the Psalmist sings, "For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm 48:14)"
