Wisdom for today - 3
He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth. (Proverbs 10:4)
Do you work with a lazy hand or are you diligent in your work? Whether it be laboring for your daily needs or for your family or for God’s kingdom, do it wholeheartedly because eventually you will see the returns and experience the rewards of your labor. Comparing yourself with others and complaining will only promote envy, jealousy and despair, but hard work and gratefulness to God will bring joy and satisfaction. So work hard, keep yourself from greed and pride and be thankful and grateful.

God is my refuge and underneath me are his everlasting arms. He drives out my enemy before me, saying, ‘Destroy him.’ (Based on Deuteronomy 33: 27)
God's everlasting arms are underneath you. He is there to protect you and your family from all evil. The name of Jesus is your strong tower. As you cry out to him in your distress, he will save you from your enemy. Remember, at the name of Jesus, every knee bows in heaven, on earth and under the earth. At his name, demons shudder. Trust in his power to set you free.

Elohim Shomri- God My Protector- 2
God is an enemy to my enemies and opposes those who oppose me. (Based on Exodus 23:22)
Moses wanted God's protection for the Israelites as they traveled through the wilderness in their journey towards the promised land of Canaan. God promised that he would be an enemy to their enemies and would oppose those who opposed them. God was faithful and kept his promise, all through the 40 years that the Israelites traveled through the wilderness. Jesus, your Savior will deal with your enemies as only he can; you only need to be still and keep praising him.

Wisdom for today - 2
Treasures of wickedness
profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death. (Proverbs 10:2)
People may
become rich by stealing, extortion and forgery and enjoy the temporary luxuries
of this world, but judgment hangs upon their heads and eventually they inherit
the wages of their wickedness and that is eternal damnation in hell and the
lake of fire. The righteous are often persecuted in this world and many are
killed because they hold fast to righteousness, but they inherit eternal life
in heaven after their life on earth. So keep yourself from the treasures of
wickedness for it profits nothing but pursue righteousness which will deliver
you from eternal death.

Elohim Shomri- God My Protector- 1
God’s right hand is majestic in power. His right hand shatters my enemy. (Based on Exodus 15:6)
Pharaoh and his armies were destroyed by God Almighty when they pursued the Israelites in to the Red sea which was miraculously split in two by a great east wind that God sent. The enemy who pursues you will also be subdued by Jesus Christ, your loving Savior. Jesus is all powerful. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All authority in heaven and on earth rests with him. So be strong and courageous this day. Jesus will set you free.
